The Sales Coordinator role is an entry-level development position designed to support the sales team while preparing individuals for future advancement into Inside Sales and ultimately Outside Sales roles. Responsibilities include: Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle Answer customer phone calls and emails in a timely manner Enter orders, quotes, and sales data accurately Follow orders from entry through shipment Assist customers with pricing, availability, delivery, and product questions Build reports and assist with market research and sales projects Communicate with Operations, Shipping, and other departments as needed Learn Vulcan products, systems, and sales processes Assist teammates and contribute to a positive team environment Qualifications include: Required: High school diploma required Strong communication and organizational skills Basic Microsoft Office skills Ability to learn ERP and business systems Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude Travel may occasionally be required for customer visits, training and industry events. Preferred: A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field 2 or more years' experience in sales Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
