About

Intellimed is looking for a highly motivated sales development representative (SDR). In this role, you will work to discover, develop, and deliver qualified prospects to the sales team. This position is perfect for individuals who are interested in developing a career in healthcare, software, and/or technology sales. The candidate must have a deep desire to understand all components of the sales development process, including strategies related to prospecting, sourcing and segmenting target accounts, sales development and lead nurturing, contract negotiations, and closing. The person should be articulate, highly motivated, and a self-starter who can work in a cross-functional team environment. Open to remote work environment with strong preference to candidates that reside in the greater Phoenix area. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Drive prospect cultivation via outbound sales strategies (phone calls, email, LinkedIn messages) to generate qualified leads. Partner with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) to identify, research and source target prospects.Managed marketing leads, assessing and qualifying them for RVP hand-off.Book discovery and solution demonstration meetings.Assist RVPs with all aspects of the sales funnel (e.g., demo prep, pricing proposals, follow-ups).Collaborate with RVPs for campaign development and help strategize outreach.Serve as a project manager for larger sales opportunities and Request for Proposals (RFPs). Document, track, and update all deal and lead activity in Intellimed's customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Engage long-term prospects with compelling data, thought leadership, and solution updates.Attend industry conferences to engage with prospects, build relationships, and develop new sales leads.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSA bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or another related field. DESIRED TRAITS & ABILITIES:1-3 years of experience in a similar business and/or sales development role. Proven history of self-motivation aimed at reaching individual and/or team stretch goals. Experience with healthcare marketing, data analytics, sales enablement, and/or B2B marketing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Proven ability to work with a high level of autonomy, managing multiple projects at the same time with great attention to detail. Experience with CRM and/or marketing automation tools, HubSpot preferred.Open to remote work environment with strong preference to candidates that reside in the greater Phoenix area.Occasional travel required (10 or fewer days per year).
