• Protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders.


• Analyze information rapidly to make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after completing required training.


• Maintain surveillance from covert positions during night operations using infrared scopes if necessary.  Maintain contact with a network of informants as part of your law enforcement duties.
