Job Description:

The U.S. Border Patrol offers an opportunity to work with dedicated professionals in law enforcement, safeguarding the nation's economic prosperity and protecting its citizens.

• Detect individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspect documents and possessions for citizenship or violations


• Pursue undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders using surveillance equipment during night operations


• Analyze physical evidence to determine entry points for contraband or people

Preset objectives are realized via farm checks, building inspections, traffic stops, city patrols as well as transportation oversight.
