Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience and a strong background in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including diesel engines, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, alignments, and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Service vehicles by replacing or repairing parts such as belts, brakes, suspensions, and electrical components.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring work is completed to high standards.
• Assist with auto estimating processes when necessary to ensure accurate billing for services rendered.

Requirements

• Proven service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive service techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on diagnostics and repair accuracy.
• Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle issues.
