We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist for our New York City, New York location. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our inventory across multiple facilities. You will conduct in-depth analysis of inventory data, perform regular cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and develop strategies to optimize stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, a meticulous approach to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities include collaborating with the logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless product flow, managing inventory systems, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. You will be instrumental in reducing shrinkage, minimizing stockouts, and improving overall operational efficiency within our logistics network. A focus on maintaining a safe working environment, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. While extensive manual lifting might not be the primary focus, an understanding of warehouse operations and the physical demands of the role is important. This is a demanding yet rewarding position for an individual passionate about supply chain optimization and inventory management.
