Who Are You?
We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team full-time. You'll work closely with our Physical Therapists to implement restorative interventions, document progress, and support residents in regaining function, mobility, and independence.
What You'll Do:
- Administer physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Monitor resident response and document all care accurately and promptly
- Assist with resident screenings, reassessments, and therapy planning
- Educate residents and caregivers on home exercises and mobility safety
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement efforts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
- Comply with facility protocols, licensure laws, and federal regulations
- Provide compassionate, professional service to residents and families
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Active Kansas PTA license and current CPR certification
- Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, accurate documentation, and communication skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office tools
- Passion for helping others and working as part of a collaborative care team
