Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience working with children of various ages, and a strong commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for kids. This role involves supervising children, facilitating age-appropriate activities, ensuring their well-being throughout their time with us, as well as basic janitorial duties.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times.
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning.
  • Provide basic caregiving duties such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with toilet training for infants and toddlers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to children's health and safety.
  • Support children with special care needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary.
  • Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when needed, as well as minimum standards

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying. (preferred, not required)
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR certification are REQUIRED.
  • Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. (preffered)
  • Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities for success in this role. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
