Position Overview

As a Per-Diem (On-Call) Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide hands-on care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

As a Per-Diem DSP, you will respond to requests to cover open or vacant shifts in Group Homes or Day Habilitation Programs throughout Morris County. Assignments may vary based on program needs and your availability.

Per-Diem (On-Call) Direct Support Professional Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal care.
• Accompany residents to appointments and community activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow DSPs to create a safe, supportive environment.
• Encourage independence, self-help skills, and personal growth.
• Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions.
• Model compassion, patience, and positive communication.
• Complete required documentation and follow ArcMorris and DDD guidelines.

Per-Diem (On-Call) Direct Support Professional Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NJ Driver's License.
• One year of experience in direct support or human services preferred.
• Ability to commute to various group home and program locations in Morris County.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping others succeed.
