About
Our Colorado Springs, Colorado location is hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to enhance our warehouse operations. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our logistics facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all operational and safety guidelines is expected. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and dedicated to maintaining a productive workflow. This position involves regular lifting and requires a high level of physical coordination and awareness. We provide necessary PPE and expect its consistent use. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced operators to join a growing logistics team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Place materials in appropriate storage locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
