Duties

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak efficiency and longevity.
• Install new HVAC systems following design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines or refrigerant piping.
• Use tools like ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and welding equipment for system repairs when necessary.
• Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and technical documentation to execute precise repairs or installations.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each job performed to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to job sites.
• Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or mechanical infrastructure as needed.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
• Proven service technician experience in field service environments with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installation or repair projects.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and their safety protocols is a plus.
• Skilled in equipment repair heat pumps gas furnaces and Air Conditioning units
• Experience with property maintenance tasks involving HVAC or mechanical infrastructure is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites. Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
