To complement our maintenance team, we are looking for a motivated all-rounder to start immediately or by agreement for our Hotel Täscherhof and Welcome Hotel Täsch.

We are a family-run hotel in Täsch. The village is located approximately 6 km before Zermatt and the world-famous Matterhorn. The hotel is situated at the railway station of the Matterhorn Terminal to Zermatt, with a shuttle train running every 20 minutes.

Our two hotels consist of a total of 6 buildings with 110 rooms in total.

At the Täscherhof, we have an à-la-carte restaurant, two dining rooms, a sun terrace in summer, a small terrace in winter, and a parking garage with approximately 90 spaces.

  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms or camper accommodations between stays and for new arrivals.
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and empty bins in public areas, hallways, and bathrooms.
  • Strip and remake beds, change bed linens, and assist with laundry and ironing as needed.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies, towels, and toiletries are sufficiently stocked.
  • Report any repair issues or safety anomalies to the appropriate management or maintenance department.
  • Welcome guests, assist with inquiries, and provide warm, courteous customer service.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, assist at the buffet, and help prepare drinks or basic meals when required.
  • Lay tables, clear and clean dining areas, and ensure cutlery and crockery are spotless before use.
  • Liaise between the kitchen staff, wait staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position (preferably in the hospitality industry)
  • Ability to move from cleaning rooms to serving customers without becoming flustered.
  • Good verbal communication to deal with guests and collaborate with a small team.
  • Capacity to handle extended periods of standing, bending, and carrying items.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to jump in and support different departments during peak periods
  • Residence in Zermatt/Tasch (an advantage)
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), German and/or French is a plus
  • Zermatt, Valais, Switzerland
