Professional Experience
Ability to articulate industry best practices and standards for marketing data science
Direct work on marketing data science projects either at major (Comscore 500 to 1000) marketers or on projects for them
Demonstrated deep experience delivering data science projects in one or more major industries, including financial services, retail, branded goods, consumer packaged goods, travel, pharma/healthcare, and telecommunications.
Communication Skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills showcasing enthusiasm and excitement for marketing data science
Create presentations and demos for prospects and customers that are crisp, informative, and tailored to the audience, be they executives or other technical experts
Convey complex technical information and solutions in simple, easy to understand terms
Own the technical sales process, working in partnership with the business development team to qualify and scope opportunities
Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
Build strong relationships and regular lines of communication with key Napkyn stakeholders
Professional Skills
Possess technical expertise in data science including knowledge of cloud-based tools and processes required to analyze large marketing and customer data sets
Lead requirement gathering meetings with client business and technical stakeholders and be able to tie key business objectives to data science projects
Demonstrated experience creating, designing, and delivering marketing data science projects
Experience operating Google Marketing Platform (Display and Video 360, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360, Google Analytics) and Google Cloud (Big Query, Looker)
Responsibilities The Data Scientist Consultant must be an expert in marketing data science and capable of working directly with clients to (a) sell the value of Napkyn’s related offerings to the client, (b) perform due diligence and define scope for projects, and (c) assist in the delivery of the project whether directly or via project design.
The Consultant must have subject matter expertise on the use of cloud-based technologies, direct work experience on marketing data science projects, and experience in major industries, including but not limited to financial services, retail, branded goods, consumer packaged goods, and travel.
What you’ll be working on Provide support for both the sales and the delivery of customer and marketing data analytics projects.
