This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, data engineers, and visualization specialists to ensure that all requirements are clearly defined, feasible, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. The Business Analyst operates within an Agile environment, ensuring continuous delivery and improvement of data-driven products.
Requirements Definition
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document detailed requirements for data products and analytics tools.
Understand business goals, processes, and challenges to ensure that analytics solutions provide actionable insights and value to the business.
Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and functional specifications that are comprehensible to engineers and data specialists.
Facilitation & Communication
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and project objectives.
Work closely with product managers to prioritize and scope requirements based on business value and feasibility.
Assist in testing and validation of analytics solutions, ensuring they meet business expectations.
Knowledge Management
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all requirements, changes, and functional specifications.
Ensure that all user stories, use cases, and technical specifications are up-to-date and accessible to both business and technical teams.
Create and update user guides, training materials, and process documentation for end users of analytics tools.
Must-Have Skills
Proven experience as a Business Analyst for 5+ years, preferably in data- or analytics-driven environments
Experience in supply chain analytics, with a solid understanding of supply chain processes, challenges, and KPIs
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect business strategy and data-driven solutions
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with a mix of internal and external stakeholders
Patient, empathetic, and an excellent active listener
Curious, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguity
Strong collaborator in cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with SQL, data models, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
