The hiring company is a booming Swiss SME active within the digitalisation of the research and academic field. As they are growing, they are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their team in Lausanne. The salary range for this position is CHF80-140K / year (depending on the experience).

Vacancy
Who you are
- Fluent English (C1+) and good knowledge of French or German (B1-B2)
- Very good knowledge of Linux
- You are familiar with the following tech stack: OpenStack, Ceph or other scale out storage platform, Automation/DevOps tools (Gitlab, Rally, Ansible, Jupyter Notebooks), Python, Go and Ruby for scripting, Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Loki, Nagios), Databases (MariaDB, Galera, RabbitMQ), Containers (Docker, Rancher, K8s)
- Eager to learn new technologies
Your tasks
- Bring your expertise of the DevOps ecosystem to the company's cloud solution
- Operate and develop the supporting ecosystem (SRE, capacity planning)
- Improve the custom integrations of the cloud solution (metering, billing, customer and user dashboard)
- Understand and help different stakeholders in running their application on the company's Cloud solution
- Take part in shaping the future solutions of the company and be involved in strategic decisions
