Champion the patient experience by welcoming patients, clearly explaining their imaging procedures to ease anxiety, providing educational materials, and safely transporting them to and from clinical areas.
Optimize the imaging environment by assisting technologists with patient positioning, performing post-procedure room cleanup, and keeping clinical spaces fully restocked and ready for the next patient.
Prioritize clinical safety by strictly following radiation safety guidelines, verifying patient identities with absolute accuracy, and actively preventing unnecessary radiation exposure.
Streamline department operations by managing vital records-including filing, delivering, and retrieving patient charts and reports-while monitoring inventory controls to keep the department running smoothly.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
