What You'll Do
Day‑to‑day support of assigned offices and jobsites.
Provide end‑user support and problem resolution for desktop, laptop, printers, and software applications.
Use the trouble‑ticketing system to document work and communicate with clients.
Work with end users of all technical levels.
Implement, configure, coordinate, control, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, monitor usage, and develop specialized systems and operational procedures.
Project manage new jobsite setups: assess IT requirements, order and implement circuits, order equipment, and provide ongoing support.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Team player with effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Working knowledge of networking, Active Directory, Storage Area Network, virtual machines, and Disaster Recovery.
Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and productivity tools.
Experience with Cisco network equipment is a plus.
Ability to follow direction and work independently.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; exceptionally detail oriented.
Experience in dynamic fast‑paced team environments.
Follow‑up system to ensure timely handling of information requests.
Discretion and sensitivity with confidential information.
Self‑starter who prioritizes issues and manages user expectations.
Experience in a multi‑organization environment.
Industry knowledge in engineering and construction is desired.
System administration and support experience is desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle preferred.
Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with employees, vendors, and clients.
What You Bring to Us
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of practical IT experience (education, training, or experience may be combined).
Travel
Up to 20% travel.
Working Conditions
Office environment: sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; indoors with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level low to medium, louder on job sites.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
