Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with Obstetrics/Gynecology.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the Obstetrics and Gynecology, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Where You'll Work

We are currently in search of an obstetrician gynecologist to function as a full time laborist. Laborist acts as the primary in-house attending physician on labor and delivery to provide high quality evidence-based care to obstetric patients including Common Spirit practice patients, unassigned patients and those requiring emergency care. Duties also include Emergency Room coverage so must be comfortable with gynecologic surgical procedures. 3-5+ years experience preferred with proficiency in high-risk obstetrics. Full time position 7-8 24 hour shifts per month to include a mix of weekdays and weekends.

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, we received our prestigious Magnet designation! We are so proud of our nursing staff for this achievement, which is awarded to less than 6 percent of hospitals in the United States. $365,280 - $365,280 /year
