The Direct Sales Representative position is responsible for attaining direct sales goals and objectives through the creation and execution of a sales plan in the assigned territory./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliBuilds and maintains customer relationships, while able to cover orthopedic procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen./liliEducates customers on P28 products./liliPrepares reports of business transactions./liliBuilds and implements sales plans for the assigned territory, manages and tracks customer sales activity and prospective customer initiatives, achieves sales quotas, reports on sales progress and competitor customer activities to sales leaders./liliEnter new customer data and other sales data for current customer into P28s delegated systems./liliFacilitates on-time delivery of products to customers./liliEducates and informs sales representatives, doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of P28 products/liliResponsible for territory case coverage./liliManaging and maintaining a sample inventory of products./liliSolves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion./liliTravels to and attends trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings./liliPlans, coordinates and executes local educational and sales events, with the support of internal resources, intended to augment the business./liliCoordinates customer training./liliAggressively solicit orders from present and prospective customers for the products assigned./liliStrictly adheres to all laws and Paragon 28 policies regarding the interaction with Health Care Professionals, product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training./liliKeeps respective Direct Sales Representative informed of territory progress on a regular basis./liliDirects product evaluations in OR and office settings./liliResponsible for successful completion of sales training./liliOther duties may be assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliBachelors degree preferred./liliPrior orthopedic sales experience preferred; and/or ability to learn and understand orthopedic concepts quickly./liliStrong sales and communication skills./liliStrong work ethic./liliMust have a valid drivers license and active vehicle insurance policy./liliAble to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction when outside of clinical events./liliResidence within the geographical contracted territory of business is required, unless prior approval granted by the Executive VP of Sales and/or CEO./li/ulpWork Environment: This position operates from employees home office. Additionally, employees are routinely required to be present in hospital environments, including operating rooms during surgeries./ppPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job./ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with individuals internal and external to the organization. The employee frequently is required to move about the facility. The employee may be required to lift up-to 50 lbs. by themselves. Employee must also have the ability to wear a 7-9-pound protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room. The position also requires sitting, standing and/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day; frequent bending/stooping, squatting and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel and operating a personal computer./ppPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position; it will require weekend, evening, and holiday work as surgeries require on an emergency basis./ppTravel Expectations: Travel 20% overnight travel. Required to attend national meetings, district meetings and other training as requested./ppCompensation Data: Average Salary Range: $110,000 - $190,000 USD annually and eligibility for bonus/ppEOE/p/div
