Job Summary EMCOR Mechanical Services, an EMCOR Company, has an opening for a full-time experienced Information Technology Administrator in the greater Washington DC / Lanham, MD area. The IT Administrator will serve as a main point of contact on all IT related matters for two EMCOR entities; one located in Washington DC and the other located in Lanham, MD. Travel between the two sites is required. #LI-NS1 Essential Duties & Responsibilities Investigate and diagnose network problems. Carry out routine configuration and installation of IT solution. Develop project timelines and track project progress. Evaluate and modify systems performance. Maintain integrity of network, server deployment, and security. Maintain network servers. Maintain network services for individual machines. Use the corporate ticketing system to respond to IT requests. Administer and manage telephone and voicemail systems Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with working knowledge of day-to-day IT Infrastructure and servers. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Strong attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of management, employees, vendors and customers. Must be highly trustworthy and be able handle confidential information.
