Location: Wildwood Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital Department: Ophthalmology Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: As an Ophthalmic Technician, you provide technical support to the Ophthalmologist/Optometrist. You will perform specific testing/exams and administer eye drops before the patient sees the provider. In this role, you will review patient charts before exams to anticipate testing, procedures and instruments, supplies or equipment as needed. You will provide patients both verbal and written instructions regarding medications and treatment and answer questions and follow up when necessary. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive. REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Previous Ophthalmic tech experience.
