Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate LPN to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support patients through assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing management of their health conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and wound care and medication management in accordance with physicians' orders and safety protocols. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions including ICU or Level I Trauma Center cases, critical care needs, or post-operative recovery. Support patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes or heart disease through education on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like emergency rooms, hospital medicine units, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
Valid LPN license in good standing with the state of Florida. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation. Experience with specialized procedures such as wound care, G-Tube, ostomy care, or ventilator management is preferred. Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background highly desirable. Ability to perform complex patient assessments and manage acute pain or infectious disease cases effectively. Excellent communication skills for triage situations and working with individuals of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
