Improve rehab spaces that directly impact patient recovery Lead complex renovations in fully occupied care environments About Our Client The client is a leading rehabilitation provider focused on upgrading therapy gyms, patient rooms, mobilitytraining areas, and support spaces-all while keeping facilities fully operational and patientcentered throughout construction. Job Description Lead construction and renovation within occupied rehab units, therapy spaces, and longterm patient areas Develop multiphase plans that maintain access to therapy gyms, ADL spaces, and nursing stations Coordinate closely with rehab leadership to avoid disruptions during highvolume therapy hours Implement enhanced infectioncontrol protocols (e.g., dust containment, negative air, pathway protection) Manage work around sensitive populations, including patients with mobility challenges or cognitive impairments Oversee complex MEP upgrades required for rehab equipment, lifts, and therapy technologies Schedule noiseproducing activities around patient rest times and clinical programming Collaborate with facilities teams to plan utility shutdowns without interrupting essential rehab services Ensure full compliance with lifesafety codes in environments where patient evacuation can be slower Provide transparent communication to staff, patients, and families regarding construction impacts MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have:
Proven experience delivering renovation work in occupied healthcare or rehab settings Deep understanding of patientcentered construction planning in environments with mobilityrestricted or longstay patients Strong ability to collaborate with rehab therapists, nursing managers, facility directors, and patient services Exceptional sensitivity to noise, access, and safety challenges unique to rehabilitation care Skilled in infectioncontrol practices tailored to longterm occupied environments Demonstrated capacity to phase work around therapy schedules, group programs, and patient rest periods Calm, communicative, and flexible-able to adjust plans quickly in response to clinical needs Experienced in managing logistics around active hallways, therapy equipment, and 24/7 patient care operations What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $165,000 annually.
