Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Med Tech - Adult Day Services - Woodside Place Oakmont, PA – Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; 7:30a – 4p Starting Rate: $16.25/hour - $20.44/hour, depending on experience Presbyterian SeniorCare Network provides compassionate, vibrant, and supportive communities for older adults that nurture the wholeness of body, mind, and spirit.
Woodside Place of Oakmont is the residential community for people living with dementia on our Oakmont, PA campus. Woodside Place offers innovative dementia care that meets the physical, social, and psychological needs of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia conditions. Our unique approach has been replicated nationally and internationally and remains the gold standard in dementia care. Woodside Place also offers full-day and half-day adult day services. The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem, serves meals or monitors eating/drinking, accompanies residents to various activities, assists with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care. Requirements for the Personal Care Assistant (PCA):
Be a minimum of 18 years of age. Have a high school diploma or GED or provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire.
Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members.
