Strategic Sales Specialist – Industrial & Technical Solutions Join HPS, Inc. , an industry leader in seal design and supply , as a Strategic Sales Specialist . This opportunity is positioned within technical B2B and industrial sales , partnering with OEMs and manufacturers across the fluid power, process, and electrification industries. Your role will involve collaboration with engineering and operations teams to deliver customized sealing solutions that enhance performance and reliability, all while earning competitive pay and uncapped commissions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities with OEMs and industrial manufacturers
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers
Understand customer applications, processes, and pain points to recommend optimal sealing solutions
Partner with internal engineering and operations to deliver tailored solutions
Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits nationwide
Track sales pipeline and performance in CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Consistently achieve or exceed sales and margin targets
Ideal Candidate You are a consultative salesperson with technical curiosity and a drive to help customers solve complex problems. You thrive in environments that combine relationship‑building, strategy, and engineering understanding.
Requirements
3‑5 years of success in B2B industrial sales, technical sales, OEM sales, or engineered product sales
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business (or equivalent experience)
Proven track record in solution‑based or consultative selling
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus)
Willingness to travel 40‑50% nationwide
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
