Location: US-MA Andover, AN1 ESSEX BLDG (350 Lowell St) Date Posted: 2026-06-10 Role Type Onsite What You Will Do Manage and optimize the server infrastructure in a heterogeneous information system. Provide IT systems administration in a mixed Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Lead a team of System Administrators to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems and applications. Oversee corrective/preventive maintenance, recurring operations, account management, and system optimization. Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, install system‑wide software, and allocate mass storage space. Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes. Participate in Change Request reviews and on Change Management boards at multiple program levels. Coordinate technical and process document reviews, resolve system‑administration, engineering, and integration issues. Lead and participate in technical meetings with team members and other program personnel, representing the organization in functional area matters. Obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date. Ensure systems operate 24x7; perform work outside standard hours as necessary. Travel up to 10% per year to other US domestic locations as business needs dictate. Qualifications Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. An active and transferable U.S. Secret Clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required. Experience as a Linux System Administrator. Experience with at least two of the following technologies: VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible), Windows administration. Preferred Qualifications Patch management, OS upgrades, computer security, system monitoring and logging. Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. Experience with NetApp, Veeam. Experience with requirements gathering, planning, and managing deployment, installation, maintenance and upgrade efforts across multiple geographic sites. Experience managing IT services and support in a 24/7 real‑time operational environment. Experience with Linux/Windows scripting. What We Offer Salary range: $107,500 USD – $204,500 USD.
