About
Provide Tier 2 network support for the 480th ISR Wing, maintaining continuous availability of the Distributed Common Ground System. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, including VLANs, ACLs, and QoS. Implement and manage secure VPN connections and firewall policies to protect mission‑critical data. Perform network performance analysis, capacity planning, and incident response for TCP/IP and WAN links. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new systems, apply patches, and document network changes. Requirements
3+ years of experience in network engineering or management, preferably in a defense or intelligence environment. Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies. Hands‑on experience with network security tools, VPN technologies, and firewall configuration. Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux operating systems for network services support. Ability to work in a 24x7 operational setting and respond to high‑priority incidents.
