Casual position with flexible scheduling and no regular schedule Competitive hourly pay range of $18.35 to $25.32, based on experience Support patients in a medical-surgical setting with basic care, mobility, and safety needs Must have a valid Wisconsin CNA certification and current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers About this role Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as a Casual CNA on our Med/Surg unit, where you will play an important role in supporting patients with compassionate, hands-on care. In this position, you will work closely with nurses and other team members to help patients with comfort, mobility, nutrition, and safety in a collaborative rural hospital environment. Your work helps bring our mission of empathy amplified to life by supporting patients and families with dignity, respect, and attentive care. Key responsibilities
Assist patients with basic care needs related to nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility, and safety Transport and transfer patients safely using appropriate equipment and precautions Assist nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients using approved practice guidelines Maintain equipment and the care environment, including transporting bodies to the morgue when needed Communicate and document accurate information with the health care team What you will need
Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant certification required Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification required High school diploma or equivalency 2 years of previous CNA experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize work and follow unit guidelines Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care What we offer
