About

Our client is a groundworks and civils contractor involved in variety of projects from residential, healthcare, etc.

Some of their Clients include Lioncor Construction, Cairn Homes, Glenveagh, ESS Modular, etc.
They currently have projects in Cork, Kilkenny, Kildare and Galway.
They require an QS based in their office in Tralee with the requirement to go site 1 or 2 times per week.
Roles & Responsibilities: Assisting in Tendering Projects.
Procuring subcontractors and managing their monthly accounts.
Preparation of monthly valuations for projects.
Identify and pricing variations and agreeing them with Client.
Preparing monthly cost reports on the performance of each project.
They will get full exposure of projects from tender, through to construction through to final account stage.
Criteria: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or any relevant subject Professional experience with a proven track record Excellent problem solving skills Good financial and numeracy management skills Excellent communication and negotiating skills A clear understanding of building regulations and guidelines Candidate must be self motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed An attractive salary and benefits package is available for the successful candidate. xyswxtq
