Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Test Analyst to join our software engineering and quality assurance team. This role focuses on automation, quality engineering, and intelligent system validation to ensure the reliability, performance, security, accessibility, and resilience of enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for functional, regression, integration, performance, security, accessibility, and end-to-end testing. Build and enhance automation frameworks for APIs, user interfaces, backend services, and enterprise workflows. Develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation code using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages. Validate enterprise applications, APIs, distributed systems, databases, and system integrations. Create and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Postman, Tosca, or similar technologies. Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of automation tools and supporting infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. Implement test data management strategies to improve automation reliability, maintainability, and coverage. Utilize mocking, stubbing, and service virtualization techniques to support testing of dependent systems. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates. Support automated functional, performance, and security validation within deployment pipelines. Develop and execute automated tests within cloud and containerized environments, including Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes. Contribute to scalable and distributed test execution strategies. Develop validation approaches for AI-enabled applications, automated business processes, and intelligent systems. Support testing of robotic process automation (RPA) workflows and enterprise automation platforms where applicable. Participate in testing distributed architectures, event-driven systems, and enterprise integrations. Leverage approved Generative AI tools to improve automation quality, productivity, and intelligent test design. Promote shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering practices. Contribute to test strategy development, risk-based testing approaches, and quality governance initiatives. Monitor automation effectiveness through quality metrics and continuous improvement efforts. Reduce flaky tests and improve automation stability and reliability. Participate in code reviews and advocate for testability during system design and development. Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, Product Management, Architecture, and Quality teams. Communicate technical findings and quality risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship appropriate to experience level. Stay current on emerging technologies, automation tools, and industry best practices. Skills Required
Senior: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience beyond degree requirements. Lead: Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience beyond degree requirements. Strong understanding of software engineering and quality engineering principles. Experience developing and maintaining UI and/or API test automation frameworks. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Similar object-oriented or scripting languages Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Git-based version control systems. Experience supporting applications on Windows and/or Linux platforms. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC practices, and modern software delivery approaches. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud environments. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized test environments. Experience with performance testing and/or security testing tools. Experience with enterprise testing and validation tools such as Tosca, NeoLoad, qTest, Invicti, or similar platforms. Experience implementing or supporting automated testing frameworks within ServiceNow environments. Experience validating AI-enabled applications or utilizing AI-assisted testing tools. Experience influencing application design for testability, scalability, maintainability, and resilience. Experience supporting DevOps or DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin. Experience testing event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium. Understanding of resilience testing, fault injection, and chaos engineering concepts. Experience validating Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflows using tools such as UiPath or Power Automate. Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana. Education
Highschool diploma or GED Additional requirements
Hybrid with minimum of 2 times a week onsite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. $68 - $82 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
