Position Overview
The Principal Btm Construction Manager is the senior owner's representative responsible for the safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of Tract's behind-the-meter (BTM) power solutions serving large-scale data center campuses.
These solutions can include gas-powered assets (reciprocating engines, turbines, fuel cells), battery energy storage systems (BESS), and associated electrical infrastructure (MV switchgear, transformers, interconnection, controls). This role leads end-to-end construction execution from notice-to-proceed (NTP) through commercial operation (COD), ensuring that each plant is built to Tract's standards for safety, quality, reliability, and scalability.
This is Tract's anchor hire for BTM construction. The initial focus will be projects in the Reno, NV and Texas regions, with a clear path to build and lead a broader construction team as we scale to additional campuses.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience delivering behind-the-meter or distributed power specifically for data centers or other always-on loads.
- Background with companies such as distributed power providers, rental power fleets, IPPs, or mission-critical EPCs.
- Experience integrating engines + BESS or other hybrid power configurations.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CM-Lean, or equivalent) are a plus but not required.

Work Environment: Hybrid or remote with significant time on job sites.
Travel: Expect 5070% travel, primarily to Nevada and Texas sites, with additional travel as new campuses are launched.
Expected Salary Range: $150,000 $200,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus
