Job Description
The Deposit Pricing and Analytics team is responsible for setting the interest rates on all deposit accounts (e.g., checking, savings, and CDs) within the retail line of business at JPMorgan Chase, which has the largest deposit base among all banks in the United States.
As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate on this team you will manage deposit‑based strategic analytics to inform pricing strategy. You will lead end‑to‑end analytics that answer challenging, open‑ended questions, driving product decisions and informing on deposit trends.
Job Responsibilities
Own complex, strategic analytics to determine impacts of potential pricing actions with a focus on CDs and elasticity testing
Become a firm‑wide expert on money‑movement data, using it to gauge the impact of yield‑seeking behavior and macroeconomic trends on deposit balances
Translate analytical results into clear, compelling visual narratives and present regularly to senior leadership
Closely partner with pricing strategy leads and partners in finance, branch network, marketing, risk, and product
Develop interactive, automated dashboards that allow partners to quickly self‑serve data
Stay informed of competitors’ changes to deposit products and pricing structures as well as broader economic trends that impact pricing strategy
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics and reporting
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
3+ years in data and analytics, finance, pricing, treasury, or a related field
3+ years of experience with SQL and at least one analytic tool such as SAS, Python, or Alteryx
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
Proven ability to query large‑scale datasets to solve highly complex problems
Demonstrated confidence and passion for using data and analytics
Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Background in financial services, consumer banking, or a related industry
Mastery of Tableau or a similar analytics platform with experience in creating automated solutions
