Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Level 5) to join the T-7A Mission Systems Team located in Berkeley,MO.As a Lead Engineer on the Mission Systems Hardware team, your role will lead a team in completing the development, qualification, and transition to production of multiple Mission Systems hardware, such as mission computing, communications, navigation, surveillance, datalink and displays. You will be responsible for managing the technical performance of the team and a few key suppliers to ensure integration and verification of installed system performance.The T-7A Mission Systems includes new equipment and integration of off-the-shelf hardware that is tested in an advanced laboratory and verified in ground/flight test. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, ChemistryLevel 5: 14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor's degree OR 12 years of work-related experience with a master's degree14+ years of experience with Avionics Hardware design, production and project management14+ years of experience in process development and qualification, physical and functional integration and installation design and resolving supplier technical issues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 14+ years of systems engineering experience involving: system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verificationA ctive U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active Experience with Advanced Cockpit Displays: Heads Up Display (HUD), Up Front Control Display (UFCD), Large Area Displays (LAD), and mission systems avionics equipmentExperience with commercial and military avionics systemsExperience working with suppliers and supply chain managementProposal development experienceSigning Bonus Potential for Qualified External Candidates.
