We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join our General Accounting team in Glasgow. This is a new role where you’ll support multiple global trading divisions and play a key part in transforming and improving our operating expense accounting processes.

You’ll lead a team, oversee month-end reporting, and ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. You’ll also help us improve our processes, drive automation, and maintain strong internal controls.

• Lead and review operating expense accounting for multiple divisions.
• Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
• Oversee month-end journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Provide clear and insightful analysis of financial performance.
• Manage and develop a team, supporting graduates and trainees.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardisation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across global and regional teams.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls.

• You’re a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) 
• You’re experienced in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and project management (preferred but not essential).
• You’re great at managing people and building strong relationships.
• You’re organised, detail-oriented, and thrive under deadlines.
• You’re flexible and adapt well to change.
• You’re passionate about improving processes and driving positive change.
• You’re eligible to work in the UK.
