Systems Administrator – Secure Labs Support Team Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Job Type: Onsite Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required on day 1 (U.S. citizenship required) What You’ll Do Work with technologies including virtualization, servers, clients, networking, storage, and backup Collaborate cross‑functionally with team members and stakeholders Build strong relationships with customers and peers Assist in driving escalations to resolution Participate in improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE) Utilize technical knowledge to facilitate resolution of service requests and restoration tickets Support the implementation of technical solutions for assigned projects Provide support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 infrastructure teams What You’ll Learn Develop relationships with DT peers across the U.S. Communicate effectively with Engineering leadership Provide ROI based on project performance Apply knowledge and personal skills to shape projects with evolving requirements Qualifications You Must Have University degree or advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience Active DoD Secret clearance on day 1 of employment U.S. citizenship (required for clearance) Experience in a professional, secure environment supporting desktop, server, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Linux) Strong networking knowledge Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST 800‑53 Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+); active certification preferred Qualifications We Prefer Additional technology or cloud administration certifications Advanced security certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP) Govt.
