Assisting the surgical team by prepping and organizing the operating environment Upholding sterile conditions and following infection control guidelines Providing instruments and supplies efficiently to surgeons and assistants during surgery Managing surgical tools and equipment throughout the operation Keeping track of medical supplies and ensuring the operating room is ready for each surgery Working collaboratively with nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and other surgical professionals to provide comprehensive care Executing precise surgical counts and maintaining clear documentation Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or its equivalent necessary Necessary Certifications:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required BLS certification, or the ability to secure it within 90 days of employment Essential Skills and Qualities:
Comprehensive understanding of surgical instruments and the various procedures across specialties Strong communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced environments Quick thinking with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively Meticulous organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail Expertise in aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile field What Makes This Opportunity Unique:
