Roles and Responsibilities
Utilize specialized radiographic and CT techniques to produce precise diagnostic images for physician review Work alongside radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate assessments Position patients skillfully and adjust equipment settings for optimal results Adhere to stringent radiation safety protocols for patient and staff protection Keep comprehensive documentation, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Foster a caring and supportive patient experience throughout the imaging process Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment Education Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; Bachelor's Degree preferred Successful completion of an accredited radiology program Certifications Required
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Key Skills
Expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques and safety protocols Strong communication abilities with patients and healthcare colleagues Adaptability in fast-paced environments while efficiently managing changing demands Detail-oriented approach with a sense of personal accountability Comfortable with technology including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software What We Offer You
