Position Summary The IT Coordinator / Site IT Lead is responsible for providing comprehensive on-site information technology support for a U.S.-based location. This hands‑on role covers end‑user support (1st and 2nd level help desk), client device management, and IT support for manufacturing and production equipment. The position works closely with the corporate IT team to ensure local systems, infrastructure, and users are running efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities Help Desk and End-User Support (1st and 2nd Level)
Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site IT incidents, service requests, and questions via phone, email, and ticketing system
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users in a timely manner
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to corporate IT or third‑party vendors as appropriate
Create, manage, and disable user accounts in Active Directory / Azure AD, including access rights and group memberships
Conduct user onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and account provisioning
Provide end-user training and guidance on standard business applications and IT security best practices
Client Setup and Workstation Management
Image, configure, and deploy Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops for new hires and replacements
Manage device enrollment and policy enforcement
Maintain an accurate hardware and software asset inventory for the site
Install, configure, and maintain peripheral devices including printers, scanners, monitors, headsets, and mobile phones
Perform routine OS updates, security patching, and software version management
Manufacturing and Production Equipment IT Support
Provide IT support for production floor systems
Coordinate with machine operators, maintenance technicians, and vendors to resolve production‑related IT issues
Ensure reliable network connectivity between production floor systems and enterprise IT infrastructure
Support integration of new machinery into the existing network and IT environment
Maintain documentation for all production system configurations, software versions, and network interfaces
Adhere to IT/OT segmentation policies and support cybersecurity controls in the manufacturing environment
Provide and maintain IT equipment for the production floor (e.g., monitors, terminals, barcode systems)
Support setup and optimization of digital workstations in manufacturing areas
