With a turnover approaching £85 million and several major projects recently secured, the business has a clear five-year growth strategy and continues to invest heavily in both its people and project delivery capabilities.In this role, you will lead preconstruction activities across design and build projects, managing design teams through RIBA Stages 3-5 while ensuring compliance, buildability, efficiency, and technical excellence. - Leading design and preconstruction activities across major MEP projects
- Managing design teams through RIBA Stages 3-5
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures
- Reviewing design calculations, specifications, drawings, and schedules
- Supporting commercial teams with bid submissions and tender activities
- Conducting feasibility studies, technical audits, and site surveys
- Managing relationships with clients, contractors, and specialist suppliers
The Person:
- Strong Mechanical background within the MEP industry
- Experience in project management, design management, or similar
- Strong understanding of regulations, compliance, and technical standards
- Experience reviewing specifications, designs, and cost information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Positive, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously
- Commutable distance from Belfast or Craigavon
