Your Role

As Sensory & Consumer Insights (SCI) Project Leader, you generate clear, actionable insights on consumer preferences, product performance, and sensory experience. You support internal teams and external clients by translating data into guidance that drives product development and business decisions.
  • Lead Sensory & Consumer Insights projects within the Savory category from briefing to final delivery
  • Provide structured, actionable insights on products and targeted consumer groups to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Plan, design, and execute sensory and consumer research in line with SCI best practices and available resources
  • Collaborate closely with Flavorists and Application teams, providing sensory guidance and product feedback based on validated methodologies
  • Analyze and interpret research data, translating findings into clear recommendations for project teams
  • Actively exchange with the global SCI community and contribute to continuous improvement of tools, methods, and best practices

About You

  • Degree in Food Science, Sensory Science, Consumer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sensory and consumer research in food, flavors, or beverage environment
  • Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, including study design, execution, and insight delivery
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, business-relevant recommendations
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Structured and independent way of working with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
