Sales Associate
The role of the sales associate is to work on site at The Loupe, providing excellent service to The Loupe & MartinPatrick3 client, actively pursuing sales, engage in team selling opportunities and building client database. Responsibilities will include handling of inventory, administrative functions, engage in training opportunities, and communication with The Loupe team and MP3 team. The sales associate also participates in hosting events, promotions, and other activations to drive interest, traffic, and ultimately sales. The Sales associate also provides input on merchandising decisions and display in-store. The employee will work primarily in a retail sales environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be exposed to some chemicals used for cleaning metals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be prone to standing for lengthy periods of time. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to see clearly and speak clearly and concisely to clients. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to hear objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Lifting requirements may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Strong salesmanship and hospitality acumen, self-awareness, ability to communicate clearly and concisely delegate, execute tasks and remain diligent in daily work and actively participate in ensuring a healthy, positive team environment. Passionate about luxury retail, fine jewelry and fashion styling. Professional knowledge of jewelry, watches, stone identification, metals and construction Eager to continue development and learning. Ability to work independently. Night and weekend availability. Experience working closely with small Proven ability to sell and promote Industry education and degree preferred, Graduate gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work is preferred. Previous retail or luxury retail experience or relevant customer related experience, hospitality.
