We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team at our new centre in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional to play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. The successful candidate will lead a classroom team, support the delivery of high-quality care and education, and ensure the highest standards of practice are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the daily operations within the assigned room to ensure a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Solta. Supervise, mentor, and support Early Years Educators within the room, promoting teamwork and best practice. Ensure full compliance with Tusla regulations, Health & Safety requirements, and Zenith Childcare policies and procedures. Build strong, professional relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on childrens development and wellbeing. Observe, assess, and document childrens learning and development in line with centre procedures. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the room environment. Support childrens emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through positive interactions and engaging experiences. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Act as a positive role model and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture. Requirements Minimum QQI Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent recognised qualification). Minimum of 2 years experience working within the early years sector, preferably in a senior educator or leadership role. Strong knowledge of Tusla regulations and quality frameworks including Aistear and Solta. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while leading by example. Genuine passion for early childhood education and creating positive learning experiences for children.
