Location: Minneapolis, MN (800 East 28th Street, ZIP 55407) Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: Mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts; includes overnight and weekend call Hours per week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MN License or IMLC required, Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery, ACLS-BLS Tier 2 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of thoracic or cardiothoracic surgery experience with emphasis on thoracic malignancy and robotic surgical skills

What You'll Do:
Perform advanced thoracic procedures, including minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgeries, and endoscopic treatments for lungs, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases. Support adult thoracic oncology patients with comprehensive surgical care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PAs, nurses, a nurse navigator, and provider coordinators. Provide coverage for clinical clinics and surgical procedures in a collaborative environment. Manage overnight and weekend call responsibilities.
What You Need:
Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC Board certification in Thoracic Surgery or Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery Minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical experience Skills in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, VATS, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy DEA license Certification in ACLS-BLS Tier 2
