Physical Therapist Assistant

Schedule: Days 8 hours M-F, flexible times as long as consistent and communicated with DOR.

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: None specified

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of PTA experience
  • LTC or Rehab Experience
  • Active PTA license
  • New Grads considered with Level II experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive devices.
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary in coordination with the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per policy.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Adherence to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
  • Active State Licensure required at time of submission.
