About

The Payroll Coordinator supports the payroll team by performing high-volume, transactional payroll tasks to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role focuses on data entry, payroll processing support, and maintaining payroll records, while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone detail-oriented who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven.
What You'll Do
Enter and maintain payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductionsAssist in processing weekly payroll for a multi-state workforceReview timesheets and payroll reports for accuracy and completenessSupport processing of commissions, bonuses, and other supplemental payAssist with wage garnishments and other payroll deductionsRespond to employee payroll inquiries and route more complex issues as neededMaintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policiesSupport payroll audits by gathering and organizing required documentationPartner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee dataPerform other administrative and payroll-related tasks as assigned
What You'll Bring
1-2 years of administrative, payroll, or data entry experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic understanding of payroll processes (or willingness to learn)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelAbility to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and focusStrong organizational and time management skillsClear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
