Compensation: $18 per hour| Full-Time
Schedule: Morning shifts, weekends required.

What You'll Do
Prepare, assemble, and cook menu items for service in a timely and consistent manner.Set up and stock assigned prep, grill, or station areas with all necessary supplies.Perform food prep tasks including slicing, chopping, portioning, and packaging.Execute short-order cooking techniques to produce high-quality menu items.Ensure all food meets quality, presentation, and portioning standards.Communicate effectively with kitchen team members regarding orders, timing, and needs.Cook and prep menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.Handle, store, and rotate all products properly in accordance with food safety standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.Practice proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times.Develop a positive rapport with customers while upholding Thomas Cuisine values and service standards.Report unsafe working conditions, operational needs, or equipment issues to management.Assist with basic leadership or training support as needed.Deliver food items to designated locations using company equipment, as required (if applicable; valid driver's license required).Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Chef or Manager.
What You Will Bring
High school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in food service or a scratch kitchen preferred.Enthusiasm for cooking and learning new techniques.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to walk and stand during the entire shift if needed.Ability to interact and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, team members, and guests.Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and responsible food handling standards.Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handler Card.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
