Facilitating surgical procedures through the preparation and organization of the operating room Upholding sterile environments while strictly following infection control protocols Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by handing them instruments and supplies Overseeing surgical equipment management throughout all stages of the procedure Monitoring supplies and ensuring each operation is fully prepared Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the entire surgical team to ensure seamless patient care Maintaining precise surgical counts and comprehensive documentation Education Requirements:
Successful completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent, required Certifications Required:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or the capability to obtain within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Qualities:
