Execute radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce precise diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians Work collaboratively with radiologists and fellow care providers to ensure accurate assessments Position patients accurately while adjusting equipment settings for optimal results Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues alike Keep thorough records that include imaging logs and maintenance of equipment Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the imaging procedure Help maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient imaging environment Education and Certification Requirements
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is a must; Bachelor's Degree preferred Graduation from a recognized radiology program Certifications Needed
Current ARRT certification for CT and/or Radiography BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment Essential Skills
Knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating demands Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technology What We Offer You
