Neurosurgeon Opportunity WellSpan Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Neurosurgeon for our west region encompassing Chambersburg, PA and Hagerstown, MD. This is an opportunity to be part of a premier team, with 2 established practice sites and strong leadership support. Wellspan Health is a 9-hospital system that includes a multispecialty group of more than 2,700 providers. Position Highlights :
Walk into a busy, established practice of 4 Neurosurgeons and excellent support from 5 APPs Primary work location is WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA Opportunity to work in Hagerstown, MD at WellSpan Parkway Neurosurgery Expected case load: 80% Spine and 20% Cranial Volumes are rapidly increasing in this region State of the art equipment in our 275+ bed acute care hospital

Qualifications Minimum Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching skills. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Good phone skills. Excellent Customer Service. Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
