Sizewell C. The power of good for Britain.

Location: London (hybrid working arrangements).

Employment type: Permanent full-time.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Programme Manager.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

The Role

As Programme Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving the digital transformation of the Sizewell C project. This is a strategic delivery role with responsibility for leading the planning, execution, and governance of the digital programme across a range of domains, including engineering systems, project delivery tools, data platforms, and operational technologies.

You will work closely with IT, engineering, construction, commercial, and external partners to ensure digital solutions are effectively deployed to support the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of the project.

The Skills

• Degree or equivalent qualification in IT, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex digital programmes in infrastructure, energy, construction, or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of digital project lifecycle, systems integration, data platforms, and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Skilled in applying structured programme and project management methodologies (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, APM).
• Ability to work across disciplines and engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen, risk management, and vendor oversight capabilities.

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.  Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company.
